Biography
Prof. Tjiptowidjojo teaches prosthodontics, including fixed and removable prosthodontics, implant-prosthodontics and CAD/CAM dentistry to pre-doctoral Dental students. In addition, he is also involved as a guest lecturer in didactic courses. His responsibilities also include the integration of digital dental technology. He has special interest in interdisciplinary treatment approach especially in Periodontics-Prosthodontics. He also serves as an ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of Prosthodontics and Singapore Dental Journal. He lectures nationally and internationally on Prosthodontics.
He earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Airlangga University, Surabaya, Indonesia. He completed a Certificate in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry from New York University. He earned a postdoctoral master's of science degree and Certificate Programs in Prosthodontics from Columbia University. He completed a Certificate in Implant Periodontal Prosthodontics Fellowship from University of Maryland. He also earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Detroit Mercy.
He is a Board-Certified Prosthodontist both in USA and Canada. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, and a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Tjiptowidjojo joined the university in 2015.
Research Activity
Current areas of dental research include: dental materials, fixed prosthodontics, implant-prosthodontics and aesthetic dentistry.
